Overview: the state at a glance

The first tab carries the running counts — photos, videos, voice notes, guest scans and the total. Below them sit the most recent contributions and a note if anything is waiting for approval. The numbers move while your guests contribute.

For the evening itself this is the only page you need open. Everything else is preparation or aftermath.

1. Open an event. The dashboard home lists your events. A click takes you into that event, not into a general view.
2. Pick the tab you need. The tabs only change the view on the same event. Nothing can be lost by looking.
3. Walk through them once beforehand. Opening each one takes 5 minutes and answers the questions that otherwise arrive during the party.

Album and Moderation

Album holds every contribution that has been published. From there you hide individual ones, delete them or bring them back. Moderation is a separate tab for events that review first: contributions wait there for your approval and appear nowhere else, not even in your own album, until you approve them.

With automatic publishing the Moderation tab stays empty. That is the default and right for most parties.

QR and signs, and Live

QR and signs carries the code in several formats and colours, plus a designer for print-ready signs. Live opens the wall you can put on a screen in the room; it belongs to the Celebrate and Grand plans and has no on/off switch, because it runs as soon as guests can see the album.

QR and signs is the tab you need first and then barely again. Print 1 stand per table, not 1 per room.

Downloads, in its own tab or in Album

Downloads is the tab for afterwards: take everything as 1 archive, or pick a selection. Depending on your view of the dashboard it has an entry of its own in the menu or you reach it through Album. It is aftermath and not needed on the night.

The free tier has no downloads at all, neither as a package nor file by file. The Downloads page offers “Upgrade plan” instead.

Settings: name, date and ending the event

Settings is short: the event’s name and date, in some views also the guest link and your plan and storage, and at the end archiving and deleting the event. Colour and whether guests may send videos or voice messages sit under Guest pages. You set whether the album is public, and whether a password stands in front of it, under Album → “Public” → “Album link” and “Album password”.

Changes apply to the next guest who loads the page. Anyone with it already open still sees the old state.

The order that works

Create the event and set its language as you do, choose under Guest pages whether videos and voice messages are allowed, take the code from QR & signs, and run a test upload from a borrowed phone. After that Overview is the only page you still need.

Afterwards go to Downloads. Only once everything is saved, and only if uploads should stop, archive the event under Settings → “End this event” — that cannot be undone from the dashboard.
