Find your way around the dashboard
An event has 8 tabs: Overview, Album, QR and signs, Live, Downloads, Moderation, Insights and Settings. Each answers 1 question, and several of them you will never open.
For an ordinary party 3 are enough: QR and signs beforehand, Overview during, Downloads afterwards.
Overview: the state at a glance
The first tab carries the running counts — photos, videos, voice notes, guest scans and the total. Below them sit the most recent contributions and a note if anything is waiting for approval. The numbers move while your guests contribute.
For the evening itself this is the only page you need open. Everything else is preparation or aftermath.
- Open an event. The dashboard home lists your events. A click takes you into that event, not into a general view.
- Pick the tab you need. The tabs only change the view on the same event. Nothing can be lost by looking.
- Walk through them once beforehand. Opening each one takes 5 minutes and answers the questions that otherwise arrive during the party.
Album and Moderation
Album holds every contribution. From there you hide individual ones, delete them or bring them back. Moderation is a separate tab for events that review first: contributions wait there for your approval before guests can see them.
With automatic publishing the Moderation tab stays empty. That is the default and right for most parties.
QR and signs, and Live
QR and signs carries the code in several formats and colours, plus a designer for print-ready signs. Live opens the wall you can put on a screen in the room; it belongs to the Celebrate and Grand plans and starts switched off.
QR and signs is the tab you need first and then barely again. Print 1 stand per table, not 1 per room.
Downloads and Insights
Downloads is the tab for afterwards: take everything as 1 archive, or pick a selection. Insights shows how contributions spread over time and how many scans there were. Both are aftermath; neither is needed on the night.
The free tier has no package export. There the route is file by file.
Settings: every switch
Name, date, guest-page language, accent colour, which kinds of contribution are allowed, whether the album is public and whether a password stands in front of it. It is the longest tab and the one you are most likely to open twice.
Changes apply to the next guest who loads the page. Anyone with it already open still sees the old state.
The order that works
Create the event, set the language and permitted kinds in Settings, take the code from QR and signs, and run a test upload from a borrowed phone. After that Overview is the only page you still need.
Afterwards go to Downloads, and only once everything is saved back to Settings to close uploads.
Common questions
Which tab do I need during the party?
Overview. It shows the running counts and flags anything waiting for approval.
Why is the Moderation tab empty?
Because your event publishes automatically, so nothing passes through a queue.
Where do I change the event name?
In Settings. The event code is unaffected.
Where is the live wall?
The Live tab. It belongs to the Celebrate and Grand plans.
Can I break something by clicking around?
No. Tabs only change the view; nothing changes until you save.
