Short answer

A workspace holds a client identity: its own name, logo, accent colour and typeface, and its own custom domains. Events created in it wear that identity.

Studio carries 1. From Agency upwards there is no limit, which is the point of the tier.

What a workspace is

A container for 1 client identity. It carries a name, a logo, an accent colour and a typeface, and custom domains attach to it rather than to your account as a whole. Events created inside it inherit that identity.

It is not a folder for organising your own work. For that, event names and archiving do the job.

  1. Create a workspace per client. Not per event. A client with 6 events needs 1 workspace.
  2. Set its brand and domain. Both belong to the workspace rather than to the account.
  3. Create events inside it. That is what decides which identity guests see.

One per client, not per event

A venue you work with 6 times a year needs 1 workspace, not 6. The identity is what is being separated, and it stays the same across every event you run for them.

Creating one per event makes the domain limit bite immediately and gives you nothing in return.

What lives where
Belongs toExamples
The accountYour business plan, billing details, team members
The workspaceClient brand name, logo, colours, typeface, custom domains
The eventIts own plan, album, code, guest-page language, retention window

Confusing the workspace level with the event level is what produces a domain limit reached far too early.

How many you can have

Studio carries 1 client brand, which suits somebody working under their own name. Agency and Enterprise carry as many as you have clients, along with unlimited domains to put in front of them.

If you have 2 identities and are on Studio, that is the constraint that decides your tier rather than the event count.

Each brand is reviewed

A brand you set up sits as a draft until it is reviewed, and until then guests see the existing appearance rather than the new one. That applies per brand, so a second client brand goes through it as well.

Allow days for it, and set up a new client s identity when you win the work rather than the week of the event.

Events inherit, once

An event picks up the identity of the workspace it is created in. Editing the workspace brand afterwards changes what guests see at its events, because the brand is resolved when the page is served rather than copied into the event.

So fixing a logo fixes it everywhere at once, which is the behaviour you want.

The attribution line is per brand

On Agency and above, the line naming the platform can be switched off, and that setting belongs to the brand. One client can have it off while another keeps it, if that is what their contracts say.

It defaults to on, so it stays until somebody turns it off deliberately.

Common questions

Should I create a workspace per event?

No, per client. The identity is what you are separating.

How many client brands can I have?

1 on Studio, no limit from Agency upwards.

Does editing a brand change existing events?

Yes. The brand is resolved when the page is served.

Does each new brand need reviewing?

Yes, per brand. Allow days before a client s first event.

Can 1 client have the line off and another on?

Yes, from Agency upwards. The setting belongs to the brand.
