The short answer: for photos, videos and voice notes on a budget, QR Album is the best value: one package from £29, bought online in minutes. GuestPix starts at £39 without voice notes, and GuestCam at £37 in its current sale. • You want a vintage phone as the talking point: hire a retro phone, for voices only.

An audio guest book on its own

• voxu.fm: £49 for up to 100 voice notes, £89 for unlimited. Voices only.
• Retro phone hire: from £89 at Audio Guest, up to £390 per phone at Audio Guest Book, where £100 of it is paid as a deposit on booking. Delivery and return are included at both.
• The sum: GuestPix plus voxu.fm comes to £88, GuestPix plus a retro phone to at least £128. QR Album's Essential covers photos, videos and voices for £29.

Where to buy a package
