Best wedding QR code photo sharing in the UK: 4 services compared

QR Album, GUESTPIX, Wedibox and WedUploader for a UK wedding: £29 to £89, one-off. Which suits you, what guests do after the scan, and big weddings.

The short answer: for one QR code that opens a shared album of photos, videos and voice messages, QR Album is the best-value choice from £29. GUESTPIX and Wedibox start at £39, and WedUploader costs £30 once but saves everything to your own Google Drive. None needs an app. Prices checked on 16 October 2026.

Which one suits you?

  • A wedding website and RSVPs as well as photos: Wedibox, with RSVPs and a seating chart on All-In-One at £62.
  • Every file straight into your own cloud: WedUploader, £30 once for all your albums.
  • A gallery that stays up for a year: GUESTPIX Signature at £69.
  • Photos, videos and voices on a budget, in one album your guests enjoy too: QR Album is the best choice, from £29.

QR Album: one code, one album for everyone

  • Scan and share: the code opens the album in the browser. Guests add photos, videos and voice messages at the reception and for weeks afterwards, with their name on each post if they like.
  • An album guests enjoy: public or private, with likes and comments. Posts appear instantly, and from Celebrate on a live photo wall at the venue. Grand writes out every voice note.
  • Simple and yours: no app and no account, on any phone. You choose the album design, and photos and videos stay in original quality.

GUESTPIX: a polished gallery for a year

  • Strength: no app, unlimited photos and videos, a live slideshow, likes and comments, plus digital invitations with RSVPs.
  • Cost: Classic £39 with 3 months of uploads and 12 months online, Signature £69 with 12 months of both, and the Signature Bundle at £89 for 3 galleries.
  • Limit: a written and video guest book, but no voice messages.

Wedibox: photos plus a wedding website

  • Strength: the Wedding plan adds an audio guest book, a live slideshow and a wedding website, with 6 months of uploads and a year of storage.
  • Cost: Wedding £39 and All-In-One £62, both one-off, shown in pounds via the currency switch on the pricing page.
  • Limit: RSVPs, meal choices and the seating chart need All-In-One.

WedUploader: straight into your Google Drive

  • Strength: one payment of £30 covers all your albums, with no expiry date. Guests upload in original quality without logging in, and you get a QR code and sign templates.
  • Voices: guests can leave private voicemails, and a live gallery shows every upload.
  • Limit: files land in your own Google Drive, so its free space sets how much fits.

For large weddings (200+ guests)

  • Guest limits: all 4 accept unlimited guests. GUESTPIX applies fair use up to 1,000 guests per event, and WedUploader is limited by your Drive.
  • QR Album: no guest limit on any plan. On the big screen, the live photo wall from Celebrate shows every approved post as it arrives.
  • Set-up: one code per table, one at the bar and one at the evening entrance, so late arrivals do not miss it.

Checklist before you print the code

  • Test it signed out: scan the printed card with a phone that has never used the service. It should open the upload page directly.
  • Say what to do: “Scan to add your photos and see everyone else’s” gets more uploads than a bare code.
  • Send the link afterwards: add it to your thank-you message while uploads are still open.

Prices at a glance

  • Cheapest: QR Album Essential at £29, then WedUploader at £30.
  • Voices, photos and videos in one album: QR Album, Wedibox and WedUploader. GUESTPIX has no voice messages.

Asked before, answered properly

Do guests need an app to upload with a QR code?

No. All 4 open in the phone’s browser. With QR Album, guests need neither an app nor an account.

Which service suits a wedding with 200 or more guests?

All 4 accept unlimited guests. QR Album has no guest limit on any plan, and from Celebrate at £69 a live photo wall shows the posts at the venue.

Can I make the wedding QR code myself?

Yes, but a code from a free generator only opens a link. The services here create the code with the album, so every scan lands on the upload page.
