There is no WhatsApp button to find

The album link is an ordinary web address, so it travels through any messaging app the same way. Your phone s own share sheet offers WhatsApp along with everything else, and the copy button covers the rest. Nothing needs enabling on your side or theirs.

That is why this works for a group split across messengers: everyone gets the same link.

1. Copy the link. From the QR & signs tab, beside the code.
2. Paste it in the group. The group that already exists for the party. A new one gets ignored.
3. Add 1 line of your own. Say what they get and that there is nothing to install. That line does the persuading.

What arrives on the other side

A tappable link with a preview showing the album name. Tapping it opens the upload page in the phone s browser, with your event name and the wording that matches your event type. From there it is the same page a guest at the table reaches.

A guest who has already uploaded also gets an offer to copy or share the link onward, which is how it spreads without you.

What guests do not have to do

No app store, no account, no password, no email address. The page opens straight into the choice of adding photos, a video or a voice message. This is worth writing in your message, because people assume the opposite and quietly do not tap.

It matters most for guests who install nothing on principle. They are the ones a link reaches and an app never would.

When a chat beats a printed card

Before the day, for the photos taken while getting ready. After it, for everything people meant to upload and forgot. And for any occasion without a room at all — a birthday collected from several households, a colleague leaving, a group trip.

During the party itself a card on the table still reaches more people than a message does.

The line to send with it

2 things: what the guest gets, and that nothing needs installing. "Everything from Saturday in 1 album — tap, pick your photos, done. No app." That is short enough to read on a lock screen, which is where it will be read.

Avoid explaining the technology. Nobody taps because of how something works.

Think about who ends up holding it

A link in a group can be forwarded, and anyone holding it can contribute. For a private party that is the point. For anything semi-public, close the upload window when you are done or put a password in front of viewing the album.

Both switches are yours and neither needs to be decided before you send the link.
